Unhappy Where's my Color

Can anyone speculate why it is that Pikes Peak White photos have not been released by Nissan? It makes no sense to me since all the other colors have been published. Maybe they haven't painted one yet, I don't know.

I believe they haven't posted a pic because there is no white car in the US yet.

It will probably look fabulous when we finally get to see it, I am kindof curious myself as to how creamy white it may be. Nice to see you posting again

Default No White production available

Zisme, who has been a very reliable source of information on Zcar.com, had mentioned that Nissan wanted to get photos of Z in diferent colors off in a hurry. He said that at the time there was no White 350Z available.

Talking

Zon:

I did this matrix a while back for a different Nissan board. If you want to see your color, you can check out either a Maxima or Pathfinder in Glacier Pearl. It's the exact same paint code. Below is a matrix showing all current Nissan models and any matching paint codes with the ones offered on the Z.

350Z Colors
Chrome Silver = KY0
Brickyard = AX8
Daytona Blue = B17
LeMans Sunset = A17
Pikes Peak White = QX1
Redline = AX6
Silverstone = WV2
Super Black = KH3

Sentra (includes SE-R)
Blackout = KH3

Altima
Super Black = KH3

Maxima
Glacier Pearl = QX1
Super Black = KH3
Polished Titanium = WV2
Sheer Silver = KY0

XTerra
Super Black = KH3

Pathfinder
Chrome Silver = KY0
Glacier Pearl = QX1
Super Black = KH3

Frontier
Super Black = KH3

Hope this helps!

Thanks Zboy, trust Zisme if he said that. I just hope they didn't paint one yet because it sucks on the Z. I thought it looked good on the Maxima I checked out a few months ago though. Well you know they are saving the best for last, heh heh.

Question

I think all the Z colors have the metallic paint, but I am not sure about the pp white. Can someone please........ please confirm whether it have it or not??
And how come the pp white cost extra?? Does it also cost extra for white Maxima and Pathfinder?

Yes KaiKai, it is metalic paint. It seemed to have silver metalic in it. But you do have to be close to it to really see it. I checked it out on a new Maxima months ago, and again recently when I saw a Daytona Blue 350 at my local Nissan dealer. Now I wish I chose the blue, it was pretty special.
I don't know what you mean by the P/P White being more expensive, care to clarify?

We know there is atleast one because it is in that video on the track. I assumed that Nissan prepped a pre-production in each color and shipped all here and kept the white one in Japan (It's on thier test track in Japan, the name has slipped me but it is the big oval one for testing and what not......PP White looked amaizing in that video....really liked it alot.

I seriously can't imagine anyone being dissapointed with the PP white.

LOL....@ PP white......sounds yellow huh?

Beats me bro. Could be taking you for a ride. I would confirm that one somehow. Maybe ZIZME? Ask ZIZME a question on this forum.

It's just today I saw a new(latest one) prelude with a after market pearl white metallic paint. And the car looked SO beautiful and shining under the sun.

Oh, and for that extra cost I think it's a rip off too, cuz I notice the paint code for P/P white is the same as Maxima and Pathfinder. It shouldn't be that special that have to charge $300 for it.

Thumbs down

The funny thing is that is not the dealer is charging me. It states the info in the Nissan Canada website.

I was wondering if it would be like the pearl white they offered on the Z32, that was a beautiful color.
