Dealer employees caught drag racing GT-R's

http://www.gtrblog.com/media/blogs/g...erdrag-002.jpg
Could this be true? A pair of brand new pre-delivery GT-Rs at the Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI, USA on the weekend. These cars were still completely covered in interior plastics and are said to have arrived to the drag strip wearing dealer tags.
If it is, surely these can’t be sold to unassuming customers as brand new cars!?
Be careful if you’re buying one of these in Southeastern WI or Northern Illinois/Chicago areas. You will want to verify the delivery mileage as well as general tire condition and so forth.
Thanks to Nick who shot these photos for passing them along to us.

I'm sure that's part of the pre-sale inspection (which they will charge you for) :icon22:

If I lived in that area I'd forward those pics to the dealerships and call out these idiots... Imean come on Really couldn't even take off the plastics? They knew people were going to take pics!

idiots...

Very fishy but they won't be able to justify the odometer unless they towed the GT-Rs to the track.

It don't suprise me that stealerships do this. I was looking at a C6 Z06 and the owner of the store took it on a 996 mile joy ride to a golf tournament.

I was interested because I figured I'd be able to get it for a lower, used price. Hell no $1000 off the GM employee pricing. Screw that.

That makes me remember what happened to my bud brand new srt4. Since he works next door to the shop he dropped off his car to get his window tinted. An hour later he gets a call from the manager shop saying the installer driving his car crashed against another customer car. Man his car was fuked up bad he almost lost his mind.

Classic. I would think that there would be relatively stiff penalties (GTA) in
store for the geniuses involved, unless they were relatives of the owners.
