Minn? tough one. Be careful...No low profile tires...Maybe even want to buy like a 97 jeep or something as a beater

get a good set of winter rubber and you should be fine...as long as you're a smart driver.

I drove mine all last winter with blizzak snow tires on stock 17" wheels. It's definitely driveable in anything up to around 4" of snow, but if you have really harsh winters or the means to get a beater i would do so... i will be getting a beater myself next time around. They salt the hell out of the roads where i am from, so the car gets completely trashed (especially the underside) through winter months. I live in a snow belt near lake erie, so we get some of the most accumulation around too. It is a blast to drive tho with proper tires and some snow driving experience.

You must not live that far north of me. I'm in the akron/canton area. I'll be using my Z this winter as well most likely.

You can get alot more opinions if you search for "winter driving" or "winter tires". Alot more results than you will get in this thread.

my driveway is at a slight slant, Verrrry slight...and even then, i would put the car in first...step outside and watch it just sit there with the wheels spinning going in half circles....
since my driveway is long i would have to like LAUNCH out of the garage and go barreling up the driveway completely outa control. it was funny...properly calculated fun.

RWD cars with lots of power are easy to drive in the snow. Just point the nose where you want it to go and floor the gas, that way you are assured to at least get some traction.

With winter tires, the Z is better than most cars out there.

As long as you're not a complete doofus!

The answer is No.

Even with winter tires on the Z and just all seasons on the others, most FWD and all AWD cars will outhandle the Z... 300hp and RWD just doesn't mix with snow.

Of course there are exceptions (people who can drive the Z well with winter tires) but for the average driver either buy a beater or buy a different car.

^ There is a reason I see maybe 1-2 350Zs a month in PA winter months and 2-3 350Zs a day in the PA summer months...

You might want to get a blue or red Z so the rescue team can find you when you wreck your car in a pile of snow.

If you don't know what RWD+torque equals then I'm not telling you.
