Default MDracer76's Repair Thread

Heya gang. Just gonna post up some pictures of the repair of my Z from the Deer.

I'll post the installation of the Asuka bumper, fenders, hood, A-pillars, roof, and Nowells Hatch. I may be SBC-less until I can reenforce the hatch where the wing mounts

On to the pictures..

Bent Bracket.. already replaced

Did some cleaning, and a little wetsanding and polishing

Maybe I should put these on Ebay.. Own a piece of history!

Come on parts!

mmm.. yummy deer hair!

Nothing like a clean suspension?

This is gonna be sweet. For me personally, I'd like to see the whole thing first without the SBC.

Thanks Matt.. stilll have some things to take apart before she starts getting back together.. Need to pull one more fender and the A-pillars.

If anyone can provide some screen shots of the A-pillar, and B-Pillar from the factory service manual .. that would be great.

I watched them remove the A-pillars when I had my windshield replaced. Remove the weather stripping inside the door first, then just pull up on the pillar panels.

You took her clothes off and now she's sitting there lonely, cold, and half naked. How could you!? Atleast go have a drink with her. You need to tell those guys to get those parts here FAST!

Well Mike, depending on how long your parts are going to take it looks like we'll be debuting our "new" cars about the same time. I think the all CF will be awesome, can't wait to see it in person. BTW if you want you can sell me the SBC...yours is one of the only I really like.

Yea, I will be in Tennessee on the 2nd of June though. You all will probably see my car(Arthur might take it to Formula D), just with the windows but b/c the interior might not be finished/half done. No one copy me but I'm going for something like this, just w/o the wood grain, and possibly grey Ostrich rather than the tan.

^^With an interior like that, I don't think too many people will be copying you.

Do you know what car that interior is from? That's a Pagani Zonda F interior, and the tan is a little off color for me, reminds me of a friend of mine from Texas' cowboy boots, but that interior is IMO still extremely nice.
