What did your hands look like afterwards? .

Looks good. Keep up the good work. In for #'s...

Edit: Will it be dyno tuned?

Haha, believe it or not, it's not that bad on an HR engine. On a DE, I definitely pull the engine.

This is the Turn Key kit, so we used GTM's tune, but we ran it on the dyno and put it through its paces to make sure everything was safe. The timing and fuel is on the conservative side, but still makes great power.

I noticed that the strut bar and front support brace are gone, I thought the piping was revised to make these fit? Just wondering since my nismo will be getting the same kit.

Funny you should mention that. We just finished installing some new piping that allows the strut bar and Nismo front brace to fit

Ah I see, so does that mean that in order to run both braces, i will have to purchase your piping with the GTM kit?

The hp numbers are higher due to a bit of boost creep in the upper rpms (6500+). Apparently, the stage 1 turbines do not like free flowing exhaust setups The tq numbers are low because the timing is very conservative.

I am debating between the Stage I and Stage II turn key kit. What do you consider free flowing exhaust? The HKS isn't a 3" system but it is dual/free flowing IMO.

I'd like to see my HP/TQ #'s close together and not spread out.

Free flowing as in no cats and dual 3 inches or something.

Hr's will always make more hp then torque. Its also no bad to have it setup like that on a stock block.

This car is running the Motordyne TDX V2 exhaust, which is basically a 2.5" on the y-pipe before the muffler, and dual 3" after. If you are going with the internal gates, I'd highly recommend the stage 2 turbines to insure that you don't run into any boost creep in the higher rpm's.
