Do you remember if it was metallic? 16 and 54 look pretty close.

Humbrol 54!!!

16 is too pale.
55 is too red.
171 is too coppery.
<Gee, I sound like little red riding hood!>
Yes - in my experience, I have been to around 5 track days in the 2.5 years I have had the Humbrol paint on my Brembos. All told, that is a total of about 50,000 miles. They have not chipped off, or burnt off while are acceptably close to the original color as painted - at least enough so that I was still able to get a 1st place at the 2010 ZCON in the 350Z Daily Driver category. I have tracked the car so that the brakes have gotten hot enough to melt AMS carbon ceramic pad material onto the rotors!
But I think the paint has held up exceptionally well. Yah - they do look now, just a tad darker now than the OEM paint, but not hardly so, - while they were a perfect match when first applied. I am **** enough that if it were not a close enough match, I would repaint them before every car show. Try it yourself - I can recommend it!
are all brembo caliper decals the same size? or are the oem brembo decals 3.5"x0.81"
I keep coming across the 4th item on the link below.
Not sure if the size is correct. Might give it a shot n e way since the price isnt bad

I think I held the heat gun a little too close on the larger spots causing the paint to turn a darker shade so I will probably go over those again. All in all, very happy with the results and it looks way better than before IMO.

It usually helps to build up a few coats to fill the gaps left by the chips. Most touch-up paint is thick enough that 2-3 coats looks much better close-up than the first time.
Nice job!

I may try him again and give him more specific measurements with detailed pictures of a measuring tape next to the calipers. I want them to be the exact size so I can place them over the existing ones.
This is the best guy to get the Brembo decals from. I've bought two sets from him and they were the EXACT measurements that were on my Brembos.
