LED daytime running lights
got them 2 weeks ago.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5CnBCslpRE
maybe some will consider them rice, but i feel like to try them out.
they are super bright. so i thought maybe its better to vinyl them with a 40% black tint to reduce their brightness a bit, so they wont be annoying for the ppl driving towards me.
will install them on both sides
also will disconnect the rear fog light (JDM Spec), and connect those to it. so when ever i want to switch them on, it will show on the dashboard
what do you think guys

I'm not sure if they will cover the requirement, but there are sets of reflectors (the part under the headlight) that have LEDs wired in floating around here.
The ones I'm talking about aren't exactly like these, but you get the idea. The ones I just bought have a set of white and a set of amber lights inside so you can hook them up as you wish (running lights / blinker / combo): https://my350z.com/forum/body-interi...lectors-5.html

Thx guys
I don't mind if it looks "ghey" or "Porsche wannabe"
All Porsche, BMW, merc, VW... Etc have them. And even other tuning brands like mansory uses them on their cars. So I'm trying to be somehow creative.
Will post pics as soon as I receive my other parts shipped from US

greddy
Nice lights, but yeah, you will find they are a bit bright.
Take a look at my profile/garage/CLSFYD and theres pics of my DRLs.. i used a Greddy aacrylic blade that slide rights into the gap under the headlight.. and they were too bright.. didnt blend in , didnt match the low key look of my ccfl halo werk either.
I applied two layers of limo tint ( from a set of rear signal covers i never used) and it did the trick perfectly.
99 bucks shipped.
NO body work etc. no hardcore wiring etc. and completely stealth.
Rice, yeah, but its cool. My whole car is rice but its still bad#ss.

I've got the ones mentioned above from Clearcorners with the white LED and the amber LED for turn signals. They work fantastic and IMO do not look out of place. In fact, they look like they came from the factory installed like this.
