370z head unit in a 350z?

I've searched all over the fourms and I havent been able to find anything on this. Does anyone know if its possible to switch a stock bose equipped 370z head unit into a bose equipped 350z? The primary reason I want to do this is because of the Aux input on the 370z unit.

Already a thread on this topic and the last guy didn't follow-through

If the only thing that you want is the Auxillary control you should save yourself the hassle and go aftermarket instead. It won't be a flush fit if you try to use the 370z radio.

Gotcha, thanks for the info.

If it's primarily for the AUX input, consider adding an aftermarket device to your existing HU. I recommend the PA15-NIS, and I've included a link where I've written a review/linked an installation guide:

Will cost you less and take less time to install, and it's well worth every penny. Good luck!

Wow, thanks for the info, I really appreciate it.
Do you happen to know if it will work if I have the OEM GPS system as well?

The compatibility list lists that all radios are compatible. If you want to be sure, you could always pull your head unit and check if there are ports for the cables. For me, I pulled the SAT radio and replaced it with the iPod adapter.

On a side note, the quality is comparable to a factory iPod plugin, it's really amazing. But, the last I remember for some reason the sound levels were kind of weird. For example, I had to put it up beyond what I normally do at certain songs. I think it was my iPod, but I'll check when I get back later this month (cars in storage since I'm overseas).
