Liam's NASA Spec 350z Build by RDZ Motorsports
Figured that much mike. I saw his car on base. It would be nice to see wwp do more than hand out backpacks and send guys skiing... multi million dollar corporation has bank, hopefully they helped him w/his build, afterall he earned it
We MIGHT be able to lower the seat but egress becomes a big problem for me then.
WWP helped me last year but this year not as much. I'm looking at other organizations right now. But this build is out of pocket currently. RDZ is really helping me oit, but there's a lot of man hours in this and they're a small shop

swap out and sell off the headlights and taillights for some older ones... that should net you ~$500 or more to help with the build. after all they seem like they might only get damaged.
You may need to consider a different seat...one without head containment. I have the same seat...and it is extremely hard to exit the car normally. But with Helmet and HANS on...I could barely get out of my car during some recent timed drills NASA held at CMP. So I am looking at seats now, and going to window nets on both sides. I have two non-head condationments seats in the shop now...going test fit those over the winter.
I have heard/read good arguments from both sides of the Head-Containment Seat issues. But after factering in a FIRE related exit speed, I will do 2013 with an NON-Head Containment seat...
I am 6' 1" and ~195, AND 60 YEARS OLD with rotator cuff injuries to both shoulders (sux) ...So climbing in/out of my car in normal situations is pretty hard for me...after a good race I normally sit in the car for a little while to gather my stregth to exit the car in the paddock.

Looking good (still need to do some sticker addition/subtraction as part of your mods removal)
Glad to see another SpecZ coming along.
JE - why a passenger window net for (solo) racing? I got rid of my head-containment seat as well; I want to GTFO of the car as quickly as possible. Visibility is improved as well.

The standard passenger side of the Driver Net...the one in the middle of the car. What is that officially called?

appears they are just called "right side nets"
