Default why does my car look LOWER than other stock Z's (pic)???

I got some hotchkis springs and was complaining that they have settled too much. I wonder if my car is stock a bit lower than most other 350s. In 2003 some people on the board told me that as well, when it was stock. Any ideas why it looks so low, on my old stock springs??

Here is a pic

yeah it looks to be normal height with taller tires - if the tires are taller than stock, I think it is just creating the illusion of being lower.

Looks about right for Hotchkis. Don't worry I think you're okay.

If the pic is stock height, then yes, it does appear lower than a stock 350Z.

I have the Hotchkis springs and they just about the right ride height for my taste, except that the front is a bit lower than the rear after the added weight from the turbo kit.

Yes, the pic is stock.

Here is a pic of my car right after I installed the Hotchkis. Since then it has settled a bit more. If I have ANYONE in the car, I will scrape ANY speed bump and I often times tap my front lip on slight dips and driveways.

I have noticed that too, and on another thread I even brought it up and was shot down. Some said that it isn't true and has been proven false.

That's about the same height as mine after it has settled. I have an 03 so I don't know why your car's ride height is so much lower. Have you thought about looking into some Tein Flex coilovers? Ride height can be adjusted.

Honestly, I think I am going to put the stock springs back on and do the DIY rear spring mount mod-cut to bring the rear down a tad. The spring rates on my Hotchkis are so close to stock, it is almost pointless if I think it is too low for me. I am going through so many tires as well, it just is getting old real fast.
