_NIZMO_'s coilover blog

My BC Racing coilover's should be arriving sometime this week: Just a few more quick questions (I'll keep this thread updated with any questions I may have).

1:How low will I be able to go (I don't want to roll my fenders)
SETUP=
Wheels (All around)
18x9.5 +20 offset
Tires
Front:255/40/18
Rear:275/40/18

2:Should I wait for the coils to settle before I do an alignment? And if yes, how long?

If anyone could answer the last question (about lubing the coilover) I had in this thread I'd very much appreciate it.

As far as lowering goes , is posing or performance your goal.

it's a legitimate question

how low can you go before you rub? No one can tell you....you will have to tell us after you play around with rideheights. It's relative to the car - some cars will rub at an inch drop with your setup; depends on alignment specs and the actual footprint of the tire, some won't

you don't need antisize on the threads...you certainly don't need them on the threads not even being used.....that makes 0 sense and all it will do is attract dirt, sand and debris

yes you need a torque wrench. If you don't have one, get one, before you do the install

Still waiting on coils :icon22:

Ok, I got some new questions.

1. Here's how I jacked up the rear, I was wondering how you would go about jacking up the front properly(obviously there is no rear differential in the front......duh).....and if anyone sees anything wrong with where I mounted the jack stand, plz let me know.

2.I just got my rear camber kit in......and was wondering if I'd need the supplied bolt/washers that came with the kit.....or would I just use the factory bolt etc....
