How easy are these to adjust? When will they be available for us? Price range? that does not look like a 350EVO swaybar in there :) Cheers! Peter Haas in Houston |

Peter Haas in Houston From the old Koni thread the shocks should be out spring '04 and be in the $600 range for a set of 4. BJ will have to answer the adjustment ? Thanks for the pic BJ. |
cool... thanks Mark!

Could these be the possible fix for the front suspension bounce and tire feathering? I really don't want to drop cash on my suspension, but if it will fix my problems then I'd pay the $600. Do these shocks work fine with the stock springs?
|
they will probably eliminate the bouncy feeling that cmoes with the very tight OEM shocks/springs
the will do nothing for tire feathering they will work fine with OEM springs |

do they also have the 5 slots on the shock to lower or raise by 5 or 10 mm? Or is the spring perch welded on the shock? How is the highest setting on dampening feel?
thanks d: |
They are a HuGE improvement in handling and the dreaded "bounce". I have played around just a little bit witht he frot rebound adjustment and you can really notice the change. the current weather conditions havent been exactly the ideal test grounds.....but from what I have felt has been nothing but positive. They should be selling for under $600 from what I have been hearing,
350EVO.com has the first 15 sets that are coming in. Eight of the 15 kits have been spoken for. I am trying to put a spring package together with them also. I am hopng to have final pricing 1st week in Jan. |

Make sure you package the Konis with your 350Evo sways (with the poly bushings) too for those who don't want to lower the car. Thanks. |

BJ,
I suggest both packages. I am sure you are already thinking that way. |
Is Koni going to relocated the adjustment screw on the rear shocks? I would be nice if you could have a knob on the side of the shock body so adjustments could be made easier in the rear.
Is Koni making these shocks the same lenght as stock? It would be nice if they were 1" shorter. In the front it looks easy enough to cut out a bit of the tube at the bottom and weld it back together. |
Steve,
Not sure about the adjustment screw. BJ can answer that one. I believe the shocks are an OEM replacement designed to work with the OEM springs and get rid of the "bounce". |
Bump.

Dwnshift any updates?
|
Too busy with other things............I still love them! Check out the new control arms!!!!!!!!!!
|
Control arms look first class. Will you be taking your street Z to any races? I'd like to try the Konis & sways out.
