Hi Guys - what would you do suspension wise with a stock 2007 GT on rays, idea is I want no wheel gap and flush with fender - but maintain a ride similar to current setup.

Wondering if spacers and just lowering springs way to go, or coilovers - thanks!

Front: 18 x 9 Offset 25mm 265 x 35 x 18 BF Goodrich KDW 2's
Rear: 18 x 10.5 Offset 20mm 295 x 35 x 18 BF Goodrich KDW 2's

My fenders are rolled. Depending on your height, you might need to roll too. The rear tires are very wide. 11" +

I have SPC camber kits front and rear, and Tein coil overs......so I can adjust all 4 corners anyway I want. This is very important. Also, it is important to find an expert who knows how to tune & adjust suspensions. I tried many shops over 4 years time, until I found one that truly knew how to tweak the 350Z. The current ride is the best the car ever had . . . .even compared to when it was brand new.

Because of the occasional bumpy roads in Atlanta, I have my ride height set at medium. I was lower.....but I would bottom-out occasionally.

Bilstein B12 ProKit gives the best of all worlds: handling improvement, lowering, respectable (better than stock) ride. I do not advise other shocks other than these or Tokico Blue if ride is a paramount concern. Also do not recommend coilovers. Ride will likely fall off (except for maybe B14 Bilstein or PSS10).

So far as flushing the tires, unless buying new wheels/tires, spacers are the only way to go. 15mm F&R will do you just fine. But, as was mentioned, this offset (net +15 rear) might require you to roll fenders. If you go with a 10mm spacer on the rear, no roll most likely.

My car on Bilstein setup mentioned. Also shown with my non-current wheels because they are 9" F @ +27 effective offset and 10" R @ +30 natural. You can see from this that there's room to move out.

These are +22 but are 9.5/10.5 BUT.... net result is almost exactly the same (within a fraction of an inch) with your 9/10 GT wheels running 15mm spacers.

Mic... Great write-up and advice (and pics). I love my Bilstein setup which handles very well, but is comfortable.

I agree with your comment about coilovers. They sound like a great idea, but they are only appropriate for owners who must adjust the ride height. Many owners install this, but never use it effectively.

I had eibach prokit with tokico d-specs (someone one here has a brand new set for sale....I loved em). To me it was the perfect height, and the adjustability of the d-specs on the fly I liked

And 18x9.5 +23 front with 255/40/18, 18x9.5+15 with 275/40/18 for wheels and tires with front and rear camber arms
