Zymol vs. your wax

I have noticed a bunch of people showing off their freshly waxed cars, so I thought I would do they same. Just a fresh coat of Zymol Cleaner a couple days ago. Here are my results :)

Thanks. I would like to try that Zaino, but I have never seen it for sale anywhere (other than site). Is it sold in stores anyone?

Zaino and a coat of meguiars #26

danduvz 06-10-2007 02:16 PM

Ironically, seeing your post is what made me go outside and wax mine. Car looks great, but looks like you missed some wax in the cracks (or I am seeing stuff). Where did you buy the Zaino at? Off the site?

Zaino sold through a network of distributors. I did a google on it and found a seller at http://www.lazaino.com.

Guy is real knowledgeable and helpful about the products.

I have used Zaino and very impressed with the results. I've got a posting with pics of the results from my first application somewhere, you might do a search on Zaino of this forum.

Thats some old carnuba thats been there forever. I have to take off the rear bumper to get it off. The #26 doesnt have white residue. I got all my zaino for free which is why I use it. I do like zaino for its durability and shine though. But prefer the gloss and depth of carnuba which is why I have both on there. I got my zaino at the zdayz raffle. But you can get it from the zaino store website. Get their best package and your set. I need more z-2 and I wanna try their mack daddy detailing spray z-8 I think.

Spike100 06-10-2007 02:26 PM

Do these products hide or "fill-in" all the tiny abrasions in the Z's clear coat. My 2003 redline has many tiny "scratches?"

--Spike

danduvz 06-10-2007 02:28 PM

Couldn't say for sure. If you mean swirl marks, then yes, it will help with those. I don't know about filling in scratches though. :)

ZSpectrum 06-10-2007 02:30 PM

Z-5 does hide/ fill them. It does quite well too. Id do 3 coats of it. 2 hid 90% of mine.

I am becoming very fond of Zymol lately. Your car looks great

ZSpectrum 06-10-2007 02:37 PM

Yeah his car does look good. The 1800 dollar zymol is the shyt I would kill for it.

Thanks for the compliments. If anything the car looks very stock :(. I am out of the Navy in a few months and am trying to save all my money for flight school.

And the car is sitting outside with 9,999 miles on the odometer so I don't want to drive it!

Fastass350z 06-10-2007 02:47 PM

If you like the carnuba stuff, you should try Malms.
Its awesome BUT the problem I have with it and all carnuba products is its such a PITA to work with. I have to give it to Zaino for being easy on and easy off. Malms polish is really good too.
Here's an older pic with Malms...

like i said before this isnt even in the sun the ice is fully sythetic and leaves no white residue and you can spray it everywhere it doesnt smear or anything it is the easiest thing you can ever use... i would recommend every one to try it thanks for the kudos guys!!

danduvz 06-10-2007 03:05 PM

I tried the turtle wax ice on my 06 magnetic black and it was a pain in the *** to rub off. Not sure why but had a lot better luck and results with the meguiar's gold. Plus it got rid of the fine swirl marks I had that show up so easy on black...

Fastass350z 06-10-2007 03:22 PM

how was it hard it does smear or anything???

Try Zymol. I recommend it to everyone and no one has been disappointed. I brought my Z to the dealer last week, and they were all commenting how good my old a$$ Z looks :)

I havent waxed this car yet... this is with just Meguiar's Gold Car Wash... not too shabby. I've tried Meguiar NXT and EagleOne NanoWax and both worked well on my previous cars, thinkin about trying Zaino next- just to see what the hype is all about.:)

I currently use the entire ICE line (except for the liquid clay bar; It sucks ass) and I am very happy w/ the results. Being my car is CS, it's VERY easy to get a good shine/reflection w/o much hassle as you might expect to get from a redline or SB.

It went on easy but was hard to rub off?? Don't know why like I said but have had good luck with the meguiar's. Does the Zymol help with fine swirls like the meguiar's??? Damn swirls show too easy on black but once they are waxed the black is beautiful...

Yes, Zymol is great at getting rid of those nasty swirls. Of course you can try and look close at the pics and let me know if you see any:icon17:

I think the last bottle of Zymol I purchased was a little less than $1800. :(

I sure hope I don't have to battle you again.
