Thats funny because his g/f is so small, she wouldn't hurt his performance trust me.

Here's a few pics from sunday. It sucked because both times Jeremy ran I ended up being on the opposite side of the track from him. Our club made a day out of it after The Run on Saturday.

I REALLY need to see about getting out in the middle of the track to take pics next time. I'm going to see if they will let me if I tell them I'm with Jeremy's racing team or something. I'm not sure what all it requires.

Oh well, here they are:

On our way to the track.

ok, i will be recessing this shifter down into the stock location, i seriously finished the car about 10 hours before i had to be there and i was sleeping 8 of those :)

the driveshaft is under there about 8 inches, so i will have plenty of room to make it fit under the stock plastic as well.

THANKS for all the pics craig!!!

aalzuhair 12-12-2006 05:40 AM

Good job Jeremy :) .. I hope you break into the 9's soon.

Best of luck,

Az

VeeTec 12-12-2006 07:23 AM

Audible Mayhem 12-12-2006 07:49 AM

Great times Jeremy! I'm sure 9's are only a pass away. I'm glad everything is coming together for you. I can't wait to get back to Orlando and see it run.

Alberto 12-12-2006 01:59 PM

ZLadie2000 12-12-2006 03:16 PM

the car looks sooo low and mean too...kinda like a Bulldog stance!

brooke 12-12-2006 03:26 PM

Hey Jeremy do you recall what times the new z06 put down????

Audible Mayhem 12-12-2006 03:57 PM

nope man, sorry, i was running around crazy all day, i dont think i saw any other cars really running until the end, i know the ferraris and lambos were running 12s and 13s though....

mrtomcat 12-13-2006 01:40 AM

great pctures. I miss the track soooo much

bldrz 12-13-2006 09:27 AM

Jeremy, those are some great initial runs. I knew you would like the auto. It is hard to explain the sensation until you drive one down the dragstrip. I can't wait until you have some more seat time with your set-up. I think it is safe to say nines are in the very near future for you. Once again awesome job!!! On a side note, what is your z's weight with you in it and what rpm are you going through the traps at. Jason

doug 12-13-2006 12:47 PM

So chris you went to the track and didn't run? gay

the edit is still gay

Kenk2 12-13-2006 01:17 PM

The event wasn't open to the public, Jeremy was "invited." :icon38:

Audible Mayhem 12-13-2006 02:47 PM

ken, call me up man, i will hook it up!!

bldrz, i dont know the weight of the car, i would guess somewhere under 3000 with me in it, i have the timing set up safe and still havent tuned the car at all. i mean, i have a simple street tune but havent strapped it on the dyno and perfected it. i will get a lot more out of it very very soon. i should have it all fixed tomorrow night and then get things rolling!! thanks though and 9s should be within the next week!!

ZLadie2000 12-13-2006 03:04 PM

So does this mean you may be at the track on Friday?

Audible Mayhem 12-13-2006 04:07 PM

i am not sure, i am taking the car up to the shop tomorrow and going to try to fix it, i figured out that its just a shorted out wire now 100% and not a bad computer or anything computer related. i just have to get it on the lift.

i will let you know...

I tried to at the end, but they wouldn't let me.

bacalhau16 12-13-2006 09:26 PM

Hopefully they will let you on the track for his next pass. You should just wear a shirt that has his shops name on it and say your part of his crew. You can pretend to line him up, and then flap his passenger door for him after his burnout. lol!

Julian@MRC 12-14-2006 06:34 AM

Jeremy,

Take read through the NHRA rule book..We are limited to classes we may participate in due to the V6 engine size and Power adders as well as weight.
The only one we found we may compete in with our new car is Pro Modified. And even at that, you have a certain minimum weight the car must be depending on the power adders. you may have to add weight to the car.
The addition of a T400 prohibits us, and you, from competing in any of the Sportsman classes.:(

one350zfan 12-14-2006 07:08 AM

Damn! I'm on here all the time and I can't believe I missed this event!

Jeremy, whats your opinion of the track down here? I was thinking of running at OSW some day but if its significantly worse than Bradenton I guess I wont bother.

gnxs 12-14-2006 07:21 AM

Nice run.

Based on your 60 ft., I'd say there's at least a few tenths left in there just with a better launch.

Keep checking around you guys....Sometimes you can compete in some classes but changing around the trans would penalize you and cause you to add weight to offset that modification. I am just trying to give you a heads up on what I have seen so you dont get to discouraged. Good luck.

It's against Jeremy's religion to add weight to a car:D

If he wants to compete in a class he may not have a choice.

shirts are coming soon!!

yeah guys, i havent figured out what i want to do this season, i think i want to just make some noise really, maybe in the quick 16 or something, the sport RWD requires a nissan tranny and our cars would have to weigh 3800 WTF!!!!!

we will figure it out julian, plus have lots of fun on the way..

TheCajunStyle 12-14-2006 07:12 PM

hey man, congrats on the great runs!

i still feel really bad for your rear strut bar.

bacalhau16 12-14-2006 10:12 PM

You know jeremy, after a good tune, and with the new weight balancer maching thing you said your getting, you 3800lb Z would probably still be really impressive. Add a little weight to the rear, keep the rest in the center and balance the car as best as possible. A 800whp+ Z would still be pretty fast even if it did weigh 3800lbs or so. The gearing in your new tranny and the smoothness would obviously help that out. Nothing saying you couldnt atleast try it.

Audible Mayhem 12-15-2006 01:55 AM

well i would have to add 1000 pounds to my car and albertos 2 girlfriends dont want to drive down south cause we dont have White Castles down here??

go figure.... :icon38: :icon38: :icon38: :icon38:

350z-900whp 12-15-2006 02:28 AM

i can see the 9 sec coming soon :D

i know i know!!! the old chain around the axle trick!!

is that a 8.8 ??

bacalhau16 12-15-2006 08:51 PM

How much fabrication is that going to require? Looks like its off an older vette or something beastly!

You shouldnt be rackin on Albertos hoes without him being in on it either. I think Wendy's is a legitimate replacement for them though!

Kenk2 12-16-2006 05:42 AM

Well its Sat. and he hit the track yesterday....

Any updates Jeremy??
