Yea, one dyno in and of itself don't really mean much at all. It's just numbers on a piece of paper. In addition, trying to compare different dynos from different cars is just about as pointless. Take her to the track =)

Potential causes of low #'s in this case
1. Dirty Intake Filter (11.9 AF @ 6100rpm) 2. Heat soak (Temperature of runs) 3. Rotational weight - What wheels/tires you on? 4. Timing retard due to knock |

Timing retard due to knock 2.It was a pretty hot socal day 88degree F. drive took about 30min's and went straight on the dyno when i got there. 3. 5zigen fno1rc's lighter than stock rims tire sizes are 235/255 4.How can i tell im knocking? when SAFC II was on showed knock but may of not been calibrated correctly. Wouldn't i be able to feel like hesitation of some sort with timing retard? thanks on the constructive info |

I'm curious to see what sort of gains you get. I also would like to see what sort of gains I would get if I reflash mine as well...might not be much at all. Ahhhh, the quirky little Z :D After I install my HF cats and Headers, I'm taking it to a dyno to check my a/f mixture. If I'm fine and the results are good, I obviously won't be dropping $600 bucks. But if I'm not, then I will post the before and after charts as a result of the reflash. Hopefully I get lucky! Zquicksilver |
