dyno #'s no ecu tuning basic bolt ons
Kinda dissapointed in the numbers i put down but i understand the ECU is holding HP back.
Just got my car dynoed today on a dynojet 248 numbers are SAE corrected Temp at time of dyno was 88degrees F pretty hot socal temp. runs were back to back. I believe with the TS ECU Reflash i should be hitting 260rwhp or close to it.
Dyno shows that im running rich after 4700rpm to redline
my mods are:
Crawford Cast Plenum
Crawford Hiflow Cats
DC Headers
Gruppe S ypipe
PE Exhaust
JWT Pop charger
MPR ground kit
NGK Iradium sp(stock heat range)
Unorthodox Crank U/D pulley

Never trust a dyno as being 100% law. My Z dyno'ed at only 230whp on a Mustang dyno.
My advice is to get a baseline without doing any mods and them dyno after you did some mods all on the same dyno.

i don't know if this makes a difference but when i had the safc II when installing it i cut the wrong wire but then soldered it back together so it shouldve been fine right??? but then when i hooked everything up correctly it would show knock with all default settings? so i disconnected the safc II removed it and soldered all the stock wires back together.
Even without any tuning with the SAFC II it showed knock which is kinda weird?

i heard running with a fan or without a fan infront of the car on the dyno makes a different but does size of the fan matter because seriously the fan that they had infront of my car wasn't all that big.

This is probably because your ECU is compensating for the extra air by richening the mixture. Tuning the ECU will allow it to run more lean, the way the mods "want" to run.
I have seen guys with carbon build up on their spark plugs when running that rich, make sure to check them out from time to time... not to mention all the hesitation you'll be getting if it already has build-up.

Wow you have almost all the bolt-ons and headers, and your running rich. I have similar mods minus headers and I was WAY lean(over 15.2:1), funny how different Z's react to mods. Even though your kinda rich I would have expected higher numbers, good luck with the flash, it did my car good.
It depends on every car, like I mentioned I was 3 pts leaner than this guys dyno with less mods. I have also seen a Z with all the bolt-ons and cams have a decent around 13.1-13.5 a/f with no ecu tuning at all. It depends on your car, but Id say after a few bolt-ons 90% of us would need a reflash to maximize our mods.
Do all the ECU's in every Z out there that doesn't have a ECU reflash and have bolt on's, will be restricted no matter how much they modded their Z?

I've posted elsewhere, but I'll add it so it's in this thread as well:
259hp, 247tq
mods:
JWT pop
Crawford Plenum
UR Pullies
Kinetix Test Pipes
Greddy EVO II
5th gear pulls, dyno-jet and NO ECU reflash.
So I'm 10hp higher than you without headers, and basically the same mods. You may want to look into dumping the y-pipe and going true dual. Just a thought.

i found this thread basically similar mods as me the onlything he is on the stock plenum but he does a before technosquare flash and after ts flash. and saw a 22rwhp increase and 18lb tq increase.

Yeah, that makes sense to me. Get the ECU asap and see if the #'s jump...because right now I don't think the headers are helping at all.
I'm curious to see what sort of gains you get. I also would like to see what sort of gains I would get if I reflash mine as well...might not be much at all.
