I think im going to deff get a higher final gear... prob around 380ish. Prob Borla cat back exhaust for sound.. not sure what else is going to give me the best performance.. With about 2500 to spend in the power dept whats going to give me the best bang for the buck? Thanks for all input!

turbonator...

If power is horsepower, a final gear does not "make power." Nothing in the drive train AFTER the motor makes power.

I would just buy a cheesburger for $2.95.
Or take boxing lessons.

You could also rubb out a quick one. For those 10 seconds or less, you'll be free.

I guess I should have expected this type of responses... I have done some research and pretty much everything i've found has stated that the only substantial gains in power are through FI which is unfortunate cause I have issues with making my DD an aftermarket FI car.. Lots of gremlins..

I dont think turbo is for me.. really don't want to pull the engine and I dont want all that heat under the hood plus I like the low end power band of a supercharger. Guess ill get some headers high flow cats and cat backs, get a 370 ish gear and see how I like what I have. down the road I could get supercharged.. perhaps when the car is paid off.

BTW just had KW V2 coilovers installed over the weekend and HOLLY GOODNESS I love them.. it feels pretty much like stock driving down the street.. a little stiffer of course but still comfortable, until I hit a corner, then DAMNNNNNN. ill get some pics of the new stance soon. Big ups to Advance Performance.. Mike does a great job!

Even with full boltons + gears you will still be slow. Everyone at Gandy will beat you.

Does anyone know what the resale value of the Z is at now? Its got to be low given the huge increase in idiot owners... :dunno:

Try driving the car hard with the traction control off first before you think about adding more power....
