Dang it was not up for more than a minute before you jumped all over that! Hehe. You should drive! It is breathtaking.

You can see Chris bouncing to the cam in the reflection of the car! Priceless!

Injen, plenum, crawford headers, test pipes, stillen exhaust.

All forged internals and the Tomei 268 cams. 10.5 : 1 compression. I think! I dont know all the individual componants.

I think it pulled 293 all motor N/A HP.

Oh almost forgot the TNT Direct TB nitrous injection.

293 whp is alot for NA. this was done on a dyno jet? how come he's not using your highflow cats? car sounds cool though, almost has ferrari tonal qualities to it at high rpm.

Yeah dynojet. He does not have to pass visual inspections or have any emission standards where he lives so he went with the test pipes.

Well that little blip only went into the 5K range. You should hear it at 7100! My memory card was full and it cut that part off!

I will let Chris post the driving impressions . . . he has about twice the driving time in it than I do. Or Mike . . . he is the lucky one who gets to call it "his"

Very nice--it doesn't lope as hard as I thought it would--makes it more streetable, right?

BTW, I'm SO jealous.

It had no lope because it was idling so high. I am sure there is more when the car is warmed up...

So how is he dealing with the nitrous and the cams, ie, the timing? Cams love the timing cranked up and of course, nitrous with retarded timing is the way to go. How big of a shot is he running? Are the cams even being used to their full potential? Just curious. I have a 2k2 Maxima 3.5 and I am currently installing 264 cams with a direct port NX system. I had Technosquare adjust the settings on my ECU for the cams as opposed to the nitrous, ie, more timing. I am reluctant to run too much nitrous because of the timing being cranked up. I have one step colder copper plugs, but, I don't think that is enough.

Default Timing

I had TS leave the timing alone due to my occasional N20 use!! Before my engine rebuild I was putting down an additional 144 RWHP with a Zex kit! I've switched N20 kits and plan on putting down at least what I did earlier! I might (since look2me40 brought it up) advance the timing for just a motor dyno pull to see what difference it makes!

Fly B Z was right!! Engine had just been cranked so it had not warmed up yet, idle was probably around 1300 ! When it drops down to 750 there is a noticeable difference.

VERY right.

As for me having more seat time?
I plead the 5th...

<cough> Mike, mind if I borrow the car for a day?

This was after the Crawford Header install correct? What were your impressions of the switch from Nismo to the Crawfords? Any difference is overall sound and power?

Sounds the same.

Leaving it in 2nd around a corner, and stomping on it - where torque is the ONLY factor - the Crawfords opened a bottleneck the NISMOs were causing. Up top it's been too wet to really take it up to speed and tell top end power.

Mike - you just drove it home, what do you think?

that sounds awesome....if you dont mind me asking, how much did that set up cost? Those are close to the numbers I am looking for but dont want to use as much money as it would cost to get turbo/sc and not get those numbers (referring to some of the NA cars here).

You might not want to hear this !! I have spent way more than a SC would have cost and probably more than a good turbo setup! This is mainly due to the engine rebuild out of necessity because of a blown head. Would I do the same thing again? YES !!! I'm addicted to the "rush" you get when coming off the line @ 6000 under N20!
