HD CSC vs Z1 CSC Elimination Kit
Does anyone have any experience with either of these CSC solutions or might anyone know which is a better solution and why.
Thanks for the info http://www.z1motorsports.com/g37_370...oducts_id=7340 https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart...on.php?II=4592 |
Z1's kit required periodic adjustments
Z speed's kit does not Reading around, they feel about the same, so it comes down to what you prefer. |
i have seen both first hand, with z1 looks cool and all, but they recommend adjusting every time you get an oil change. i wouldnt want to mess with that, i personally have the zspeed setup and love it, helped a buddy install one of the weekend, bleeding is a breeze and you never have to touch it again

Kinda glad I have a DE? I would go with second one. Cheaper and less maintenance seems like a solid choice
|
i would also do the wilwood master at the same time

+1 on that. Kill two birds with one stone. I got the Wilwood MC and HD CSC with my Stg.2 clutch/flywheel and never had any issues. No leaks, no nothing. It works like a charm. You won't be disappointed. Plus Joe @ Z Speed always is willing to help out and talk to you.

The Z Speed HD CSC is what I think I had come to the conclusion of as well for the same reasons. Thank you for the input, I certainly do appreciate others research and experience.

after you do the master the pedal may not come all the way back up, if that is the case turn the rod to the right just enough times until it does come all the way back up
|
I have the RJM adjustable clutch pedal, so we'll see how all that works together. But yeah I had planned on doing CSC, Willwood master, lightweight flywheel and clutch all at the same time anyway, can't wait.

you are set then, when i helped my friend this weekend he noted that with that setup the engagement point is a little higher than before, with the rjm you can really dial it in to your liking
