Yes it is the black stuff caked to the piston. Usually its bronzed/brown
We are also gasket matching, which is why we dicided to pull the heads, it also makes installing the headers a five minute job...so its better to take the hour and a half to just pull the entire thing.. |

Damn, up that compression dude!!! With those Tomei's and higher compression and what you currently have now, should make some additional power!!! Either way, sounds good so far! Much props to you!
