My Z is almost finished.
Not much left to do. Putting the final goodies in today, here are some pictures. This is basically the same setup as Mjedens.

Blownaway do you have the base model z? If so what difference didyou notice with the nismo lsd?

Yes I ordered a base Z and began the build up. The LSD is the biggest noticable mod I have done to date, from a launch the car feels like it has another 50 HP it just slams you into the seat and off you go. If you do not have a LSD, that is the first mod you should do IMHO. The Nismo setup comes with everything you need.
Also if you guys look at the second to last picture, you will see why a plenum is so important, the front two pistons are caked in fuel, from not getting enough air...that is why the plenum is such a good mod on the car. Its the only thing I dont have...but am going to wait for an FI version of the Kinetix, I think. Nothing against crawford, I just want to keep my JIC strut bar.... |

i thought the JIC wont clear the kinetix. i have the JIC and i want to get the kinetix,but ive heard it wont work. please prove me wrong ill be happy :)

I'm guessing you only notice differnce with the LSD if your coming out of a corner or heavy curves?
What about off the line strait line accelleration? |
well, its set at 80% so its quite bangy...its pops a locks and chatters allot, but to me its worth it for the straight line launch, however I have autox'd it and it felt great as long as you push the car, if you try and baby it the diff fights you too much...

because the head bolts attach to the oil pan, and its good thing we did too, because we pulled out a 6 inch piece of silicone from the oil sump...it was wound up in there, we are not sure where it came from, but it caused no damage, talk about scary....we pulled the heads, becuase its easier to shim the cams, and attach the new Crawford headers...The whole tear down and measurement took 7 hours...my guy knows his stuff
