I like steering wheel, but not the silver leather part. Red leather would look sweet though, I wonder if the red stitching would be retained.

yes the red leather version like in the R34 Z Tune has red stitching too

I'd pay for that momo wheel but the price would probably be more than the other wheel

the Momo one is not offered anymore...this one replaced it (still made by Momo, just now its labelled NISMO)

well as somewhat expected the steering wheel is proving a difficult install

Anyone know what the orange plug is for on the back of a US factory airbag? I assume yellow is the signal wire for the airbag, as both the JDM and US wheel has it. But the car also has an orange harness that the JDM wheel does not have. I looked in the service manual in the SRS section but did not find anything
