I've searched all over and can't seem to find a DIY on how to remove the door panel for a 2006/2007. The ones I do find are the 03-05's which are different. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
If you've looked at the service manual then you have what you need. The step-by-step is correct, they just didn't bother to update the nomenclature or the picture for visual reference.

1. Pull the door handle inside, as if you're opening the door, from inside. Behind it, is a screw, that needs to be removed with a phillips screwdriver. Suggest using a magnetic driver so you don't drop the screw inside the door.
2. Pry up the handle, where the window and door lock buttons are. There aren't any screws so just gently pry it up. Doesn't take much effort. I found it easier to pry it up, from the inside of the handle, cause mine wasn't seated all the way to begin with. Unplug the 2 wire connectors attached to the bottom of the handle. Set that aside.
3. Where the handle was, there are 2 10mm bolts there. Remove those.
4. Go all the way around the outer edge of the door panel, giving it a gentle tug, about every 6 inches. should pop out about 1 inch. The only thing holding the panel at this point, are just snap connectors. Once the panel is popped, all around, lift it up, cause it's resting on the top edge, by the window, and out. Behind the door panel, is another wire connector. A small gray one. Unplug this, run the 2 wire connectors, that you unplugged already, through the opening they're coming through, and you're free.
5. DONE

Brian, sorry to thread jack.
I want to assume kptechnologies? If so, what was the color combination?
Thanks

Thanks
Yes, it was a kptechnologies unit.
Door colors are:
Lock Cylinder - Black/Red (Pin 6)
Door Lock Actuator - Purple (Tap wire behind speaker)
Ignition (RAP) - Brown (Pin 10)
12VDC - White (Pin 1)
Ground - Black (Pin 15)
All 'pinned' wires will be found at the main 16 pin connector going to the power window switch. The Door Lock Actuator wire will be found inside the door, behind the speaker. When you remove the speaker, you'll see the wire loom running through the door. Open the loom, and tap into the purple wire there.

I'll look at the install sheet tonight, so I can post which colors from the module pair up with the door wires above.
