I just saw this today in the back of the trunk, and am clueless as to its meaning. I looked and tried to find an anchor to no avail  Anyone know what it means? I know its going to be something completely obvious and I will feel like an idiot.

phreaktor 05-27-2008 03:06 PM

I'm going to go ahead and assume it is when you anchor a child car seat???

Mixturepinoy 05-27-2008 03:08 PM

It means, gay sailor seat

If you attempt to cross a steam and the water gets too high you throw out the anchor.

mdracer76 05-27-2008 03:18 PM

Don't listen to anyone that has posted in this thread at all.. we all know its true meaning.

"Small people in the seat, that have small seats in the seat, should throw anchors"

Hope this helps!

Hoyt_Z 05-27-2008 03:20 PM

I believe thats the seat ejection button :D

cbr900son 05-27-2008 11:07 PM

WOW that symbol is disturbing. I think its saying tie a anchor to ur child's carseat and throw him out in water.

lionheartednyhc 05-27-2008 11:09 PM

lol. Am I the only one that has noticed this? And where is my damn anchor, I cant find it!

Jun 05-28-2008 08:11 AM

when kid gets annoying, toss him out with an achor? :dunno:

I upgraded so my anchor can handle wives too!

blasian 05-28-2008 09:35 AM

When you pull it, the seats turn into inflatable rafts and then it anchors the Z. I did it last time I wanted to go white water rafting.

saberphx 05-28-2008 09:49 AM

lol @ This thread.

NOBI 05-28-2008 10:12 AM

Page 47 paragraph 3 of your Nissan handbook:

"In case of any seafaring emergency, i.e. rough seas, hull leak, engine failure, mutiny or shark attack; throw child overboard for secure anchor."

FlyingCostello 05-29-2008 09:23 PM

Its for when you caulk the wagon and try to float the across the river, because the damn ferry charges too much, and Jebediah is nursing a broken arm.

This is very good advice since sharks always go for the babys first due to the softer more tender meat.

Sablelieger 06-01-2008 03:35 AM

Is an anchoring point (hence, the anchor icon) for a child safety seat. :icon22:

Done Deal DR 06-01-2008 10:06 AM

LOL @ a baby riding in the Z. They would have shaken baby syndrome within minutes in most of our cars.

Well, duh. I think that most people figured it out, but were having fun coming up with new and unique definitions for that symbol.

Is that the sound the anchor makes before deployment?

lbz 06-01-2008 08:40 PM

It means, "Dont Use As Floatation Device - You Will Sink Like an Anchor"

cbr900son 06-01-2008 08:41 PM

Maybe it means hookers ride in the back. Or has something to do with sailors and or pirates

Hybrid90 06-03-2008 03:20 PM

You guys are retarded! That symbol is only found on a KKK equipped PPW Z model ONLY! That's where you tie your rope/chain when you drag a certain "stranger" :icon9: Ooooohhh IBTL

I knew that. Is not like is a special system designed by the Mafia to eject snitches and troublesome rivals into the bay with an anchor molded into the seat, so they'll be "sleeping with the fishes".

:icon44: And all your Page 3 are belong to me.

cbeneke 06-26-2008 11:13 AM

I shaved 53lbs from my Z just by taking the anchor out.

Ya but you also lost 35 hp and 20lbs/tq by removing it. Just a FYI. No, Seriously.

Gary C 06-26-2008 03:12 PM

Any questions from now on....!

Apparently you learned your lesson by asking questions that can be easily
answered by reading your manual. Consider yourself :flame: Ouch! LOL
