If you're considering 6000K here's a pic....
I just installed my 6000K D2S bulbs and I'm very happy with the color and light output. I have day and night shots. Enjoy.

looks good!!

looks nice. hate my yellers. where did you get 'em? how much?
|
Looks good man. You have to take off your entire bumper just to change some bulbs? What a PITA.
|
I only pulled apart the inner wheel lining for mine, was a pain, but I was lazy to take the bumper off, looks good. I have Philips 6k's but Ive yet to see any other brand of 6k's look similar. Mine have a purplish hue and love them, definetly look exotic.

Sweet, I've been debating doing this.

lol what a coincidence!! I bought a 6k D2S HID kit last week and decided to install them today.
Got the bumper off and everything, removed the headlights and the stock HID ballast. Then found out that the wiring on the aftermarket HID kit wont fit into the stock wiring because it is too fat... so i decided to put the stock back and black out my side markers.. How did you wire up the HID to the stock wiring? pics would be great too. P.S. to remove the front bumper faster, you can just turn the wheels to remove the 3 bolts in the wheel liner, then all the bolts at the bottom. I removed the front bumper in less than 10 minutes and it make it much better to attempt to switch the HID. Thanks for the help! |
