Great analogy, definitely shows where the maturity level on the boards are nowadays.

As far as the roof rack goes, I personally think it looks great. I don't understand the comments coming from some of the members. If the bike rack serves a purpose, I don't see what the issue is. Some people swear the Z is some kinda 100k sports car. It's not like you're putting a bike rack on a ferrari. Haters will hate. Keep up the good work, love the suspension and offsets on your wheels.

Sick wheels and stance.

The roof rack is meh

d1auto 06-30-2010 03:40 PM

So let me get this straight. You did this for looks and not for an actual purpose?

If so then........................................................ um NO

OMERTAITALIA 06-30-2010 05:25 PM

i want to rack my shiznizzit now then drift it with a bike mounted for the haters

Mike@Blackline 06-30-2010 05:54 PM

so what if he actually uses it for carrying ****. you guys are so ****ing ridiculous some times

MB350zz 06-30-2010 05:58 PM

I think the car is perfect and the Rack makes the car stand out. I personally like it a lot. Even if you did or didnt have a purpose for it it still looks good and I would still rock it. Im pretty sure you can put other things on there as well. I've been thinking about getting a rack myself for the past year now. After seeing a few Z's with it, it grew on me and I think I may do it. Anyways I woudlnt change a thing man your Z looks great!

Ruthless18x 06-30-2010 06:01 PM

Stance is awesome. I'm just pretending the rack is invisible.

35oZephyR 06-30-2010 06:03 PM

Now you throw a road bike on there with a custom painted daytona blue frame. That would be sweet.

CodeRed30 07-01-2010 09:14 AM

I'm sure glad you like negativity because I'm sure you will recieve a ton of it for this monstrosity...

JDM555 07-01-2010 09:26 AM

I came from the WRX/STi community and the whole "roof rack" fad happened with them recently too. I've never been a fan, but I didn't hate it. If it does serve a purpose, then good for you.

But then again, a WRX/STi is more practical for roof racks than a RWD 350Z you know? I think it looks fine, it's a nice roof rack at that and not one of those bulkier ugly ones, if you use it, good for you.

Your car is very clean btw.

Even if you use it once, it's worth it. I'll prob get one to take an extra set
of wheels to the track. Also, you know how to properly stance a 350z so
regardless of the neg comments - this car looks dope.

Let's do comparisons of the haters rides to this - and vote on the "appearance"
of the contending rides. I wonder what the outcome would be.

Wait till you see the new look mang - matte black ssr's +r35 bbk = +1

+1 especially in bold.

Heading to the beach in my Z this weekend and I wish I had a rack like this for the coastal cruise. Instead, I'll be taking my bike apart and reassembling. pita.

Toby-22 07-01-2010 10:23 AM

guys its not like he can't take off the rack whenever he pleases. I personally like it w/o the rack, but the car itself looks badass with or without.

shaun123 07-01-2010 11:03 AM

what model rack is that and what, if any, accessories need to be added to mount to the 350?

Thanks,
