350z's have auto headlight shut off sensor?
 

i been driving the z for a while now and never realized this till tonight. i went to get some subway and left the headlights on by accident but just decided to leave them on since i didn't feel like walking back. after i got mah sub, i realized the headlights auto shut themselves off. just curious if this is a feature included in all years/models. i have the 06-08 headlights if that makes a difference but just wondering.

I don't think it is a headlight turnoff sensor, but simply a timer that shuts off the lights about 5 minutes after the motor is shut off. Mine has been doing that since I bought it in 2003. This is explained on page 2-22 of your owner's manual.

huh must have missed that part. so i have been responsible about my headlights all this time for nothing!?

its not that hard to just turn them off.......but yea, i realized this too when i was fixing my headlight cutoff and they turned off
