Default what little or big things did you find out AFTER you purchased the Z.......

well.... i know when i got my car there were many things it offered that I didn't know about.....

-windows roll down with the key pad while unlocking the car

-hatch has a button to open other than the remote

-the VDC button, I had no clue what that was.

-the passenger cup holder!!! that thing is dope considering I had a 240sx before this.

-6 disc cd changer! (i got the touring and didn't even know about the 6disc til after it was purchased)

-HID!!!!!!! haha bought the car and didn't know about HID'S til i drove it off the lot.

Let's hear it guys.... maybe we can all learn something new...

I discovered that the Z has no "conventional" glovebox ...and to this day wonder WHY they couldn't have put one in the "normal" spot, below the passenger airbag.

I didnt know that the 1 gauge pod can be switched to show all kinds of things until the car was off the truck and they were showing it to me, I didnt know it had auto up and down for both windows (love that) loved the cup holder, didnt know the cloth seats were so nice, I though they were going to be plain, but they are pretty nice! Thats about it, I looked in the manual and found both trunk releases on the car, and found out I can drop the windows with remote, I do it every time I get to my car, love it! I still love the sound of the exhaust....power has started feeling a little on the lighter side, wish I had TT's but I do like the fact my car is almost paid off

It took me several months before I realized that there was the button to open the rear hatch. I knew about the release under the strut, but I didn't see any mention of the button in the manual. Actually, I probably still wouldn'nt know if I hadn't seen some forum posts about it here and there...

Also, it was about 3 months between when I bought my Z and when it first rained here, so it took me a little while to realize how slippery those Bridgestones can be in wet weather.

That if it's really quiet around (music turned low or off and no road noise), I can hear a faint noise every time I turn the steering wheel. By the way, is that normal? Can someone check their car the next time they drive please and let me know. Thanks!
