Spoiler!!!
Hi guys :) Just recently bought a 2003 Nissan 350z. I am already thinking about all the work I would like done to my car. I just purchased new rims but now I'm looking for a new spoiler and getting rid of my stock one. Every where I look online it seems that since it's not factory, it may not be a perfect fit. Is there anyway to make purchasing one easier? Could any of you tell me where you purchases yours from??? Thank you!!!!

Might want to decide on a style first, then figure out what's within your budget.
|
Hmm, somewhere between $100-300, since getting it primed and painted will coast me as well. I like the look of the Duraflex - AM-S Wing.
|
Get a nismo or amuse wing like mine they are cheap if you pick an aftermarket one like duraflex

WOW! I like the look of that a lot.

Don't put cheap parts on your z, it's a z, not a Civic.

Sorry I'm a 17 year old girl with a minimum wage paying job. Can't be paying $900 for a an accessory.

Kayla if you are looking to get a large spoiler that is one of the nismo style (v2 or v3).
DO NOT cheap out on these! I originally bought my replica v2 for around $200. Nearly $1000 later, it is on the car and still does not fit right. Yes it looks good from 10 feet away, but when you get close and actually look at the details it is not pretty. I suggest one of two options: 1. Find a quality spoiler that you like that is in your price range, OR 2. If you are set on the v2/v3 style, save up $1000+ and buy an authentic one. This was last year, but it took me about $700 to get to this point ($200-300 spoiler, $400 worth of custom work to get the spoiler to fit on the car properly). And after that custom work it still was not painted and did not fit perfectly Attachment 397855 |
Nismo v2 or v3

in my mind, you need some other aero pieces to be able to pull some of these tails off

I almost want to say this is a troll thread. Given infamous 17-year-olds with Z's thread, the thread made by that dude living in his dad's house making minimum wage talking about the afforability of the 350z, and the general influx of trolls lately.
OP what part of Long Island are you from? Been to any of the local meets over the summer? |

It's very high on my list actually. I've had the car for a few months now just enjoying it ordered a new front bumper with groud effect, tints will be done next week. No this isn't a "troll page," or whatever you want to call it. I didnt think some of you would be so butt hurt about me wanting something I can put on my car that MYSELF would enjoy for a decent price since I'm not making a ton and have other plans. Don't get me wrong, I will be working my car like crazy when I'm making better money and making everything on it expensive. Thank you to those giving me ideas it's really helping me out. I really appreciate it !!!

No I haven't been to any meets. I've been to car shows but the oldies, real muscle cars. My father bought it for me this summer, I've had my eye on this car for years, and might I add I am very impressed with it. It was either a g35 or an Audi TT and my gut said 350!!!! Also, I don't see any problem with a 17 year old girl wanting advice on a nice car. If it weren't for many of you, I'd put things on my car that may ruin it's look.
I'm terms of mods, I recommend working from the ground up when doing body work. You say you have a front end on the way, that's a good start. I'd get some sides and possibly a rear to pull the front together before focusing on things up top like the spoiler, hood, hatch, etc. |

With such a small budget you might as well keep your stock spoiler
|
I'd stay with the stock lip spoiler, I think they look good. If you're still on here in a year when I get my wide body on and large gt spoiler I'll give you my nismo wing since I should be back in pennslyvania then too.

And jesus christ 17 with a "nice" car. I had a bicycle until I was 25 years old through college. In any instance, I would recommend a crowd favorite blitz/evo-r: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....a0c82eeacb.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....45b4f40f5d.jpg |
