***UPDATE***

Speedhut is working on making custom gauge faces that can replace your stock gauge faces. These are not illumenisent and they will be customizable. They will also be able to accomodate manual and automatic Z gauge clusters. They will also make teh custom gauge faces for the oil pressure and voltmeter.

I will update with more info when it becomes available.

I know, by this time i would have thought they already should have a set. If anything they could have bought a set from NR auto and model theirs after it.

Oh well, i'm happy with my aluminum gauges

Well so you know, some of the time was due to me looking around for the parts that they needed. I had to secure an automatic gauge cluster along with the three smaller gauges above the navi door. I bought these out of my own pocket so I could give them to speedhut to get the project rolling and make this available for all 350z owners, not just the ones with a manual Z.

So if you want someone to blame for this not being completed earlier, blame me if it makes you feel any better.

For the record, Jun and I both started our projects a while ago, I wish we would have collaborated and worked together but we both went our separate ways. With that in mind, Jun came out with white and aluminum gauge faces which is a nice option for those who want them. AS for me, I wanted to have something available for everyone who wanted to make a true custom gauge cluster, not just white or aluminum. And I wanted to make this available for the entire community because of people's interest.

Sorry if it is taking longer than expected, but I am sure that it will be worth it in the end when I can show you some pictures of the final result. Speedhut is a very reputable company and they are working on completing the final product, trust me it will be worth the wait and then you can make your decision on what you want to get.

Whoa! I didn't mean to **** in your corn flakes or anything, I just thought that they would have gotten them done by now since it's been a few months that's all. I didn't know you were concerned with automatics or the 3 gauges above the navi, just the manual face.

No biggie... good luck.

It will be a do it yourself install. I will work to put together a tutorial for everyone so they won't encounter any problems.

Oh and Chris, thanks for the support, and don't worry, you didn't **** in my cornflakes, sorry if that post was taken in a bad context. BTW, I didn't even eat breakfast this morning.

I talked to him on another forum, he said they are still doing it, but it will be worth the wait. Go to http://www.speedhut.com/ and go to "Custom Gauges" at the top, then select Nissan, then to "Altima", and design some gauges. We should be able to have those options with the 350Z soon.

Here is a picture of the ones Jun mentioned from www.nrauto.com. My car will be at the Cape Meet on May 13th if you want to check them out.

EDIT: D'oh! Just realized you have a G35. Well come to the cape meet anyway.
