SFR/SSR TT kit. Something does not match...

Been a while since I started a thread here. I was looking at the SFR TT kit at both of there pages:
http://www.ssr-engineering.com
and
http://www.speedforceracing.com

Here is a dyno chart from the SFR's page:
http://www.speedforceracing.com/imag...t/g35_1_10.jpg
As you see, the torque peaks out at more then 3700 rpm.
Now here is a chart from the SSR's site:
http://www.ssr-engineering.com/image...bodyno_big.jpg
Here the torque peaks out at 2800.

Why is that, is that the difference in ball-bearing/non-ball bearing turbos? Is that b/c the SFR's page has a dyno chart from a low-compression motor, did they switch to largere turbos?
And, yes, I did notice a 100whp difference.
Can anyone help?

The first dyno is with 60-1 Hi Fis the second dyno is with the Super 60s :) First dyno is also on a car with 8.6:1 compression.

on the SSR kit (which is also made by SFR) has (if not mistaken) T3 Super 60 on the other hand, the SFR dyno is from the same kit but with a 60-1 HiFi

Az

Oh, hello!:D
So let me clarify this b/c the phone connection sucked and I understood like 80% of everything. Plus, it's so much easier to discuss something with it in front of you.
So just to re-cap:

the 402whp car from the SSR site is running the turbos from the base kit (no ball bearing option) on stock compression ratio.

the 502whp car from the SFR site is running the upgraded turbos (1000$ ball bearing option) and is good for much more power then base, although with a bit more lag.

The BB option is laggier then the non-BB because of the sizing of the turbos (if not for BB, it would be even more laggy).

Higher compression is better for quicker spool-up.

60-1 HiFi is the base turbo

Super 60 is the upgraded turbo

Oleg needs to learn how to read compressor maps.

Neither of them had Ball Bearing turbos. 60-1 Hi Fi is the upgraded turbo, super 60 is a full t3. Not a T3/T4 like the 60-1 hi fi.

So there are actually 4 choices for the turbos:
super 60 aka T3
60-1 Hi Fi aka T3/T4
and each of them can be ordered as ball bearing turbo or be kept as a non-ball bearing.
Here is another definition of ball bearings:
having enough balls to bear with my questions:D

As I understand it the kits are produced by SFR and SSR is a retailer of them... they can be ordered with a variety of turbo choices.

That's true, but there has go to be a limit to the choices. As I understand it, the tolerances in building turbo setups are in fractions of inch, so there is only this many turbos of same size that the manifolds/piping would fit. I don't believe that they build each set from scratch, as opposed to assembling them on jigs that they have made already.

I already hate this car with a passion.

BTW, why is there so much negative feedback about the Spit Second box?

But the VRT guys are tracking their cars with 500whp using the SS. Not to mention that mr. Tinman is on a hellacious horsepower binge with no intentions of changing his EMS (SS w/an ECU flash). So how does SS suck (no deep and hard jokes, please...)?
I can understand that more advanced systems, such as UTEC, HKS, etc have their advantages, but at 400whp range, how much difference does it make?
Anything further, then most likely, the stock rods will kill the motor, not the EMS choice.

GUYS I have great news... So my car has been at Speed Force Racing getting worked on. Dyno will be tomorrow morning. Things should be good and I am running their T3/T4 turbos. I cant ****in wait cause it should do 525+... I am hoping/aiming for freqan 600 but we'll see....
Ive never had any problems with my ss unit. Its been great and Ive been FI since May of 04'
