They actually might very well bolt up. I will try on Monday. I have gtr manifolds on the bench I could test fit.

That's awesome Sharif! Do you think there would be a business case for selling the used GT-R turbos in a kit of some sort? I know there would have to be some engineering involved, but could it be doable? I wonder if the IHI turbos are even properly sized for the VQ35?

Q&A from Ebay listing:

Q: Can I have a set? I have a 350z with no exhaust manifolds installed on a lift right now. I will test fit on engine in the car and send you pictures. If no fit I will send back.
A: do worry about it, dude. I will bolt them up to VQ35 this weekend and take pics. And i will post pics on 350z forum as well.

It honestly wouldnt suprise me if they bolted up to at least a HR or VHR, if not even a DE. But in the tight *** confines of these cars thats probly half the battle.

+1... pretty sure DE, HR, and VHR all use the same flange anyway.

apparently you cant

"We did make a mistake of that the turbos can NOT be bolted on to VQ35 engines. Because the bolt pattern of GTR35 manifolds are reversed to VQ35 headers. But we are developing a flange converter for that."

They seem to have the impression that these will fit in the car if they're going to be making a manifold adapter plate...

want to see pics!
doubtful that this will work.
IMO you are better off chopping up vg30 flanges and welding on vq flanges (from stock header) and then getting a jwt turbo upgrade kit.
