If I had to do it all over again I would have another daily driver that I was comfortable driving back and forth to work and only use my Z on weekends.

FI is like riding a motorcycle. Its not if you fall (blow up) its when you will fall...

We have all kinds of drivers on here with FI, stock block and built, from bat $hit crazy to grandmas dried vagina, in the end they will all blow up.

That's exactly how I went into this whole thing. Knowing it will blow, and it's just a matter of time :)

I've finally made it to this point with my car :gotowned:

But I have to agree with midz350 and the guys at Z1, if your car is well taken care of up to this point and your preliminary stuff checks out, you can have plenty of fun on the stock block just keep in mind all good things come to an end  so have that money stashed away to get the new motor when this one does go and deff invest in a good daily driver.

You could always just replace the engine with another stock engine if it blows for under a $1000, if you do the work yourself.
