its the benefit of the price to buy the car going down. since its cheaper people have more to spend on modding it and more products come out :icon21:

Turbo will be mounted shortly! Once it's mounted the other piping and down pipe will get started and I'll have more pics up!

looks good so far but wouldnt it be better to have the right bank exhaust gases join the left bank gases at a different angle instead of the way they are?

KingBaby Feb 21, 2012 08:06 PM

I was thinking the same thing...with flow instead of against it...

snobes Feb 22, 2012 04:05 AM

yeah at the moment its joining the exhaust in the wrong direction

konrad Feb 22, 2012 04:39 AM

It's flowing the right direction, the picture just throws you off, look at picture #3 you cam see the v band and the 3 bolt header flange in the back.

KingBaby Feb 22, 2012 06:02 AM

Ah! Yea on first glance looks like it's the flange to the header outlet!

Ztouring04 Feb 22, 2012 06:03 AM

Can't wait to come check out the shop on fri...

str8dum1 Feb 22, 2012 06:03 AM

its setup the exact same was as the turbonetics, powerlab, and momentum kits.

There's only 1 way to plumb a turbo up front in the motor.

Well if you were to convert to HR coolant return so that the pipe comes between the heads than you can run the piping on the passanger side like the 370z kit they did.

At that point I would just mount the turbo sideways on the driver side and run the downpipe on the passanger side. Could probobly fit 3.5" DP that way.

RudeG_v2.0 Feb 22, 2012 06:27 AM

You can fit a 3.5" down pipe with the conventional piping configuration of the PL kit. You need aftermarket headers for clearance though. This kit by S&R shouldn't be much different if they're placing the turbo in the same location.
