were there space limitations to mounting a second in the same spot on the drivers side?
Yes, it wasn't happening on the other side. This location ended up being perfect for the setup.

Wait until you see it. I've been building some pretty sick cars since 03 and I can tell you, this is one of the best setups that I've seen. Our fabricator knocked this out of the park!
