Total D's New Build: Time for Enyo to get a nice set of twins ;)

Well, here we go again. I decided after talking with a few members here, it would be better to start a new thread. Since this will be a new build, I will be updating the thread as often as possible, as the build progresses. This build will not be like my others. Where it's all done over a weekend. This build will take some time and be well documented. I want to take my time on this build, especially with the goals I have for my Z. I hope you guys enjoy this build, as I hope to do so as well. As more parts start to come in, I will post pictures, as well as the work being done. My goal for my Z is 1300rwhp, so crossing fingers/toes/eyes and whatever else can be crossed to make it happen...well not people.

Look forward to learning even more about our platform and passing whatever we learn down to the community.

And so it begins.....

CannMann21 Jan 8, 2013 06:40 PM

Your car is already sick as is...but 1300wrhp :icon28: Now that is just icing on the cake.

bmccann101 Jan 8, 2013 07:54 PM

i have no clue how im going to keep wheels on pavement w ONE 6266 and a street tuned 22 psi.... PTs LOOOOVE to spin high pressures.
But twin 67s? damn dude.
Talk about 2 mpg lol. Your fuel set up will likely be the most cool part of the build.

RudeG_v2.0 Jan 8, 2013 08:22 PM

Glad to see another big whp build and looking forward to seeing the results. Good luck!

In for a sick epic build!! All tuned with Osiris :o j/k i kid... Are you going to run the haltech like your last build?

Thanks man :) I wanted to have a nice looking Z and have power to back it up as well. Not just all show no go or vise versa.

Lol I hope it stays around 5mpg on full kill hehe. The fuel setup, I have different designs I am working on, so we shall see how all that comes in to play. Is your Z done? If not, good luck with everything and look forward to seeing your build as well. For my goal, twin 67s seemed the way to go and also carry the torch for some unfinished business SP didn't get a chance to see.

 I really like the way everything came out. I'm still debating on the trunk, as to paint it, or to do the roof and pillars in carbon. More pics will be coming I promise lol.

I'm not usually on that side of town to be honest. The closest I get is Las Colinas.

Kudos to the build

Thank you sir. The dry sump setup is in fact the Dailey Engineering setup. After reading and see other big builds use them, I figured I couldn't go wrong.

Chris

Chris, I'll be using the newer Haltech, so I can do E85/112/114 and a 93oct pump gas for just cruising around, for when E isn't available.

Hopefully it will get to that, that's my goal. :icon38:

As for more pics of the Z, here you go: https://my350z.com/forum/media-share...meet-enyo.html

Again thanks everyone :)

RudeG_v2.0 Jan 9, 2013 07:57 AM

Don't you have to sacrifice A/C on that Dailey dry sump setup? That would be no bueno for me in the AZ heat on a street driven car.:(

I think you have to give up the stock location of everything, but I'll find a way to keep AC haha. Texas and Louisiana are no better. We have humid heat, so there will be none of this getting in my car and being sticky lol. At least the heat there is dry. Regardless, we both gonna sweat lol

Dynosty Jan 9, 2013 08:35 AM

Great sounding build! Is it going to be 6speed? What are you planning to do with the car?

Thanks Hal!! This will stay a 6speed, I hate auto cars lol...well not all. As far as what I am going to do....Drive it like I'm racing the wind haha. No, actually haven't thought about purpose really. I mean it'll have everything to hit the strip, but she will be driven on the street as well. I don't think road course is going to be an option lol, maybe on pump gas, but she'll be pretty laggy for that I think. So, for now, she will just make a lot of power, look good, and NOT be a dyno queen. My biggest thing is just picking up where SP left off at.

str8dum1 Jan 9, 2013 12:13 PM

having been there and done that, with the complexity of this build plus lead times, you'll be lucky to shakedown before 2014.

hopefully you actually do all that you plan. Very ambitious and very expensive.

Good thing I don't have a completion date then lol. Not saying this will take years though, so don't worry guys haha. Since you have "been there and done that" (no disrespect attended), looking over what I have listed. Do you have any suggestions? I'm all ears to see hat you have to add or say. I know pretty much what my full build will be, but it's nice to pick the brains of others at times.

Well it is a plan, and like you I hope everythin stays the course, so I can accomplish my goals. Your telling me, after my first two turbo build, I should have done this first lol. I never learn :gotowned:

Vq.turbo.DremZ Jan 10, 2013 08:09 AM

Looks like an awesome plan, and very cool build. Few questions though, With the newer Haltech any plans to do a high/CR? What about your transmission any thoughts on a sequential box? I see that you mentioned 6-speed, what clutch will you be going with?

Awesome build either way, good luck.

graffkid732 Jan 10, 2013 09:41 AM

Awesome build so far man. Can't wait to see this completed. Definitely will be checking this thread often.
