Oh OK. Didn't know that you are TimRod. It would have been more clear if you had titled the thread "My Pre-Drags Teaser Clip".

Anyway... Sounds mean with the open exhaust. Good luck on the strip.

The Aftermath…..

I was not able to improve my ET. Had Tire Shake at the Top of First gear.

But did improve my MPH by 5 mile per hour.

Best Run Sunday was 11.78@125.33mph

you have the breakdown of the slip? how much did you pick up on the big end?

Just shy of 5 (4.85) mph. My ET was Crap, I spun the tires most of first gear, hit the rev limiter and had to shift early, then it bogged, had some tire shake, and still manage 11.787@125.33 with a 2.324 60ft….. Did a crappy burnout, did not even get any smoke off the tires. With the New HP, Tires just would not hold with the bad burnout. Also, I was on the rev limiter thru the traps, and that held me back. Now I need a Line Lock and taller tires. With this new MPH and taller tires I should be knocking on 10's or very very low 11's. If I just use these numbers with my last 60ft from a year ago 1.704 and subtract that from 2.324, that would get me an 11.167….So all in all, it was a Good day, but I really was hoping to get a super low 11.00 time slip. I'm Very Pleased with the horse power from the changes I've made.

Ya i was surprised that someone off camera said that was a good burnout.....
looked like a >2s 60' in the vid so ya, into the 10s with that trap and a good day at the strip

Ya, that was my friend. When I played the clip and heard that, I thought "That burnout sucked, what's he thinking"
