It's just two thin accent strips (light gray, and a darker gray). Here's another pict. Maybe you can see it better?

What's really neat about this mod however, is the improved handling. It was good with the stock 18s, now it's great. The understeer is gone, and my "G" now goes where it's pointed - always. I couldn't be happier with this change.

Looks great - don't drop it, not like you went plus-one. Good choice for more rubber in the rear, 275's should improve moving away from understeer, but 245 is still a lot of tire up front.

I don't see the "gaps", leave it as is. I've lowered other cars only when I went up 1" on the wheel size, hard to avoid.

I would have gotten the stock 18s with the Gs but that's JMO.

Welcome JD

I didn't change wheels for looks, though IMO, these wheels are better looking than the stock 18s, but for handling. The wheels are 12 lbs each lighter than the stock wheels, and I am able to run significantly wider tires on them, thus improving handling. Lower unsprung weight and wider rubber with the same profile = better handling. And much improved handling I have.

Lou, did you keep or sell the stock rims? did you have the 18" 7-spoke rim? If you still have, interested in selling?

Sorry Steve

I had the wheels & tires sold, before I got my Nismos. Sold them to a fellow with a "Z". Yes, I had the 7 spoke 18s.

Oh well, thanks anyway! I was thinking second set for A/S tires, I do have some snow to deal with now and then.
