they are just stickers on the back, no need to repaint the car

Hraesvelg Aug 22, 2004 07:11 PM

is that the Data grill? Have you though about the Bat Overlays? I had them on my Z and loved them!

looking good!

haloplayer Aug 22, 2004 07:20 PM

wait how did you take care of the INFINITI sign in the back of the car?

Hraesvelg Aug 22, 2004 07:26 PM

I think some fishing line, behind the letters will take car of that.

haloplayer Aug 22, 2004 07:46 PM

how did he smooth it out though? are they just glued? i thought they were drilled

Aznteazer Aug 22, 2004 07:56 PM

no they're just stuck on really hard. no holes.

moog Aug 22, 2004 07:57 PM

I guess that huge lip makes them look like 20's. Great job on everything...very clean.

haloplayer Aug 22, 2004 09:09 PM

so if i pull the letters off, there wont be any glue stains or scratches on the spots where the letters were?

SponGer Aug 22, 2004 09:21 PM

AxionF117, really like your set up.
haloplayer, letters and adhesive come of with minimal effort. Not that much of a PITA

HipHopPro Aug 22, 2004 09:26 PM

Nop, no scratches, little bit of tape glue, but it come's right off.

I'll comment on your picture taking before the car, very nice how you composed the shot's and background, and what's NOT in the background too. And you pick angle's that flatter the car vs just snap shot's.

I like the look of the rims, I've seen too many coupes with thousands invested in the rims and they look terrible for the effort. Your choice is very nice and doesn't mess up the lines of the car.

Thats one nice G. I love the black grill, best one Ive seen.

Import-Tooner Aug 22, 2004 10:09 PM

looking good.

AxionF117 Aug 22, 2004 10:12 PM

thanks a lot guys

The infiniti logo is just a really strong sticker, you can use a heatgun to take it off.
It is the data grill, I was actually thinking of the bat overlays but I'm not sure yet.

I'm still waiting on my front lip and I gotta get an exhaust (gonna order it this week) So I gotta do those things first.

Looks great, I really like those wheels! It sits perfect also.

vodkarocket Aug 23, 2004 10:20 PM

This is one of the few sets of 19's that the G doesn't eat up and make look like 17's.

Congrats on your purchase!

nice angles, but bad lighting. the sun went down a little too much before you started to snap pics.
