Nismo vs. Mine's Exhaust System
Hello Z community,
I am in a tough spot deciding what exhaust I want but... ever since I went to the mine's motorsports web site and researched their exhaust system, I'm sort of leaning towards maybe going all Mine's for most of the parts on my 04 Z roadster.
The problem is that I also wanted to see how the Nismo exhaust sounds. I have heard wonderful things...
So, the question is:
Sound Comparison: ?
Performance Comparison: ?
Price Worth it?
Which is overall better: ?
Money wise it seems that the Nismo is far more cheaper. Yet, I am willing to pay more for Mine's full system to have the best parts for my car.
Please help!
Thanks!

Nismo or MD both are cheaper than Mine's and make power. You can hear both the Nismo and Mine's in the above vid.
If you have the money and want to be the only one get the Mine's.

what more do you want me to explain? How do you see its not dumb? You're comparing a 600$ exhaust to a 3k $ exhaust. That's like 350z vs Enzo

Thanks for the reply!
I'm the wrong person to ask, search my car and you'll quickly see why. I will say that if you have such an expensive and exclusive exhaust you should follow up with some serious other mods. Is the car a daily driver? What is your end goal? Do you wish to boost your car? What is your car looking like now? There are many questions you need to ask yourself before you consider something like that... that's just my opinion of course.

I'm 99% sure Mine's doesn't stock these so you would probably have to put down a deposit and then pay the balance and shipping straight from Japan. My guess is in the $4k ball park when all said and done.
I'm not sure if you are a serious JDM enthusiast like Flo and myself, or just somebody who thinks Mine's exhausts are a dime a dozen.

Before you insist again on going with all MINE's part. Tell me what dyno charts or reviews have you seen of their parts other than the hearing the name.
There are far more price effective brands and parts available for the Z. Use the search function or browse through the other topics.

You are wasting your time&$$$ to go with a Mine's...if you can find/and or have the time
to wait to get one shipped out of Japan.Don't get me wrong,Mine's is like the Holy Grail
to me.I greatly respect and admire their parts and their engineering philosophy.Mine's parts are super expensive.I have a Mine's throttle body that I was able to get through a "source" at a "reasonable cost.
Its a beautifully constructed part.Great performance ,too.
I've not heard in person a Mine's exhaust.
IMO,the Nismo(I have one)would be a great choice.If you want a not-to0-loud exhaust,
comfortable during extended hwy drives, great quality, looks, ease of installation, the Nismo
is the baby.
Lets face it,thereis not much HP difference in exhaust systems that you can actually feel. But you sure can feel it in your wallet!
Bottom line, its all a moot point if you want something and are willing to pay the price but,you cannot get it!
If you are into high end JDM,you may want to check out the Amuse
R1 Titan.I've seen and heard this system...fantastic.Costs around 3 grand.

OP you need to make a plan for what you want to do with your car. You can quickly watch your bank account dwindle to nothing if you don't, especially with the high caliber JDM parts you seem to be after. Just me but, if I were to do anything but show the car I probably wouldn't go Mine's. I'd cry if I messed up my ~$4k exhaust.
