Enjoy the shifter bud. As far as grease just use a little bit of bearing grease or anything like that. Just a light coat. As far as install just once you take the four bolts off of the cover take the rubber boot cover off, go under the car an take the nut off, ten come back in the car an take te tree nuts off and slide all of that stuff on to te new shifter. Then reverse all of the steps.
