I dealt with Puria earlier in the year. What I thought was a good deal ended up being a fk'd up deal. He posted he had 4x G-Games wheels to sell for about $600, with a rear wheel that was more than likely not able to be repaired. OK, fine. The other 3 were reported as being in good condition with no scrapes, with 1 actually having been repaired by a local shop near him. So I send him a deposit to send 2 of the wheels. He sends me the bad rear and an ok front wheel. The front wheel actually had a little scrape on it, but not bad. Still, it was far from being no scrapes on it. I send him another deposit to have him send the other two. He tells me that he still has to take the tires off of them. Why didn't you do this before putting these up for sale if you weren't using them?? So he sends me the repaired front and the rear wheel, which is now damaged because of his tire guys messing it up. I look at the repaired front wheel and it is nowhere near being repaired. They just seemed to have grinded down the gouges and did some sort of welding. It was totally visible. He originally claimed there were no visible defects on any of the wheels, except the unrepairable rear. So when I said I wanted to return them all, he was going to make me pay for shipping them back, as well as for shipping to me. WTF? You sold me fk'd up wheels and you want me to pay for your problems? So I ended up with 3 wheels that were fk'd up by the time they reached me, and 1 wheel with a scrape. I ended up having to buy 3 new wheels to makeup for the fk'd up ones. It cost me the same as if I was buying new wheels. I won't be doing business with him ever again.
