Cooling Fan Relay, where is it & possible culprit?
A couple days ago, I noticed that my radiator cooling fans were coming on and would not turn off until I turned my car off. It has never done this before and I really don't remember the fans ever really kicking on and I live in Florida... Temp gauge is reading normal and I feel like the relay has gone bad or at least that's my hope of avoiding a much bigger and much more costly issue....
Can someone tell me where the cooling fan relay is?? Also, do you think this could be my problem or should I be looking at something else? Thanks, Chris |
It may be be the relay. Look in your owners manual ithe relay should be in the fuse block. The mAnual should pinpoint where the the relay is for the fans. U can switch it with another relay to see if it changes anything just make sure the one ur switching with isn't important like a ECM relay.hope this helps.. Keep us updated.
