RPM's Stay too high when shifting.

idk if its normal but when i rev up my car or when im switching gears, the rpms stay up higher than in other cars ive driven. in other words, the rpms go down way too slow. i have no check engine or codes. i have a 2006 350z base model manual transmission, is this normal?

I've driven a lot of cars too (I work at a huge dealership in sales) and I noticed this with my 350z and the ones we get on trade... It's probably because 350z's have heavier flywheels, and are not designed to rev fast. It is normal...unless yours is super slow, I guess we wont know for sure until you post your video.

^^ This. Z's have relatively heavy flywheels.

We also have a clutch delay valve / dampener that forces the clutch to slip if you try and shift too quickly:
