My clutch dampener is gone
And good riddance! Also ran Motul RBF600 through the clutch line and my clutch actually feels like a clutch between shifts. No more annoying lag between redline shifts.

Dampener itself:
The dampener is not a valve... it's a restrictor. The clutch line internal diameter is "X" size, but the dampener internal diameter is "Y" size (about 2/3 smaller than the clutch line). It's a 2-way restrictor: engagement and release. As you can see, we just put in a simple coupling where the dampener was (internal diameter on the coupling is slightly larger than the ID of the clutch line) and now I get full hydraulic pressure to the slave. Clutch definitely has a bit more kick to it, and no more annoying lag. Clutch doesn't seem to heat up really bad after hard redline runs through the gears.

Bad idea, you'll destroy the flaring and it won't seal tight. The coupling we used had a flare to match the clutch line, just with a larger opening so it wouldn't restrict the flow like the dampener.
