Driver's door lock won't unlock

Hey guys, this issue has been happening sporadically and for some reason I always forget to mention it when at the repair shop.

Basically my driver's door lock gets stuck midway when trying to unlock, it locks properly though. You can hear a distinct "twang" when trying to unlock, here's a video, sorry about the low light:

When this happened it had an odd workaround, I'd put the key into the door, turn to the left until the window rolls down entirely, then sometimes it would unlock.

Another fix would be to lock and unlock the car using the FOV but it didn't work. :icon22:

Even from the inside it won't unlock as you can see in the video.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you taken the door panel off to look inside?

Nope, can't open the door.

Update: Got the lock unlocked. God damn it was tedious, I had to insert the key and lightly moved the key from left to right but with enough force to "try" and unlock it finally budged after about 30 times.

Seems like lack of lubricant, it works properly now but I'll have it checked tomorrow and update for future reference.

No lube required- these are simple plastic connectors and sliders. Have you pulled the inside door panel? If not, see how they work, and learn.
