First pics...DB on XD9's

Here are three pics of my 07 DB on 18x9+20 18x10+18 Work XD9's. The tires are 245/40/18 front anf 275/35/18 rear. I just recently dropped the car on tanabe GF210's. Sorry for the crappy quality pics, they were taken on a camera phone. Thanks to Logan at Aspec for the expert advice!

Very clean, love DB was my first color choice but didn't have any left over. 18inchers look kinda small imo, looks great though.

I think that will settle some more on the springs, but is there any rubbing?

sry110 Mar 12, 2008 08:42 AM

Looks good, always nice to see a departure from the polished lip look.

How much drop do the GF 210's give you in the rear? In the third picture it barely looks dropped.

EDIT - Nevermind, stock rears are 245/45/18 (I think) which is about 26.7" outer diameter, while your rears are 274/35/18 which is about 25.6" outer diameter. That'll do it!

no rubbing, im hoping the springs settle more. Later on down the road ill get coilovers, springs for now though.

you can always do the rubber spring mount mod and get another .5 to 1 inch easy in the rear. 18's look great and big enough with a good drop.

+1 on the rear spring mount mod. OP, nice choice of wheels, nice color also. 18s look great in those works.

Love that color on the DB. Looks real nice.

Thanks for the compliments. I heard with the rear spring mount mod youll get metal to metal contact, thus creating sound. I dont know. Heres another dirty pic of my car.

noooice!! may i suggest some clear front reflectors. don't worry about the drop, my Tanabe's settled nicely after a month or two. we should meet up some time and take a shoot with somebody that has a good camera, cars would be almost identical :thumbup2:

amorin4122 Mar 12, 2008 04:08 PM

Thanks a lot batman, your car is what persuaded me to purchase the XD-9s. A shoot would be nice sometime. Hope your car got fixed.

Good choice in rims, but you seriously need to get some better pictures. And clean your car.

Love those wheels. The wheel finish and lug nuts look great on DB

Very nice DB on XD-9 HOTNESS! I'm also in a process of ordering the XD-9 but want 18x10 with 265/35 all around I want FAT LIPS!! What do you guys think of the 18x10 in the front you think it will stick out too much?

amorin4122 Mar 17, 2008 02:53 PM

Thanks. Not sure how that will look. I like this setup because of the big lip in the rear.
