ZMoneyPit's Build

Hello! I've always lurked on this site never posting much of my car because I never thought it'd stand up to some other builds on here. Finally decided to post up some progress I've had as of late.
My goal with this car has always been to make something beautiful and different. I'm not a fan of the stanced crowd and fall more in line with the track/useful crowd. Here are some of my recent pickups.

Amuse Z33 R1 Titan
Super happy to pick this up to go with my new rear setup. Selling my AP single which happens to be my favorite sounding exhaust for the Z but had to part ways :(.

ARC Cooling Plate
Have to get some rare stuff here and there.

The Money Pit on the left and a good friend's emaculate Greddy TT Z on the right (for sale btw).

So that's just some of the stuff I've picked up along the way with a lot more planned. Getting a wide body rear currently to make the Z more aggressive. More pictures to come!!

Manny00 04-25-2016 07:37 PM

Good stuff so far. In for some more pictures.

Thanks man, appreciate it. Car is currently waiting on wheels being put together.
Also looking into some BBKs for the real purpose of just looks. The more I do to this car the less I want to put it on a track :(... Even though I know it would be a blast. Want to keep the rare JDM theme so looking into some of the "nicer" set ups. So much to pick from just have to find a decent deal. Wish me luck!

sofakiing 05-08-2016 10:06 AM

love that exhaust!

HRMoneyPit 05-08-2016 12:38 PM

Best most expensive Z exhaust ever

rustyschopshop 05-09-2016 01:03 PM

I can't imagine spending that much for an exhaust but nice purchase. How does it sound? You should put up some sound clips or vids.

ZMoneyPIT 05-09-2016 04:01 PM

You would be amazed at what I got it for :).

https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....6e3fa5b9dc.jpg

I'll get clips when I get the car back. Remember that I have a single turbo so it sounds way different than a NA 350. Way more quiet but it'll scream when I get on it.

stogey420time 05-10-2016 06:57 AM

IMO video clips are good but don't do it justice... must listen to live. That is a nice piece of JDM you acquired... and I love how you incorporated the black side mirrors on a red car. My car is black and I've been thinking about adding either red or solar orange side mirrors.

Keep up the quality build!

Also got a sprint booster today. Boost alllllll day long.

Also did I forget to mention that I got a Garage Mak rear? :)

stogey420time 05-13-2016 01:33 PM

What spoiler is that? Blitz?

Garage Mak's duckbill.

ZMoneyPIT 05-14-2016 03:57 PM

She has a big ol' booty. This Amuse exhaust is amazing in the sunlight.

ZMoneyPIT 05-16-2016 02:06 PM

2 months is about normal for them. It's all made to order.

jdmfetish 05-17-2016 05:39 AM

what over fender is that , looks nice ?

I picked up a varis , but was lucky it was in stock

stogey420time 05-17-2016 05:40 AM

How is the spoiler mounted? Double sided 3M?

jdmfetish 05-17-2016 06:10 AM

yes sir

and its nicer than the JP vizage

i see your wheels turning

ZMoneyPIT 05-17-2016 12:45 PM

Brain McCann (bmccann101) sells a bunch of JDM stuff including the GMak pieces. Hit him up.

ZMoneyPIT 06-05-2016 05:10 PM

Received a CQuartz coating this weekend. I've never seen the car shine like this and I don't have to worry about anything harming the paint. Win/win.

abarclay 06-05-2016 05:34 PM

Such a beautiful Z man. That exhaust is freaking sexy!

Do you have any engine bay shots?

ZMoneyPIT 06-05-2016 05:51 PM

Thanks man! No engine bay pics but I can get one. Nothing much to see right now because I'm keeping it simple. I would go all out if I could get get some sort of sponsorship (or partial *cough cough*) but I honestly don't see that happening because I don't know who to contact for work :(.

Also the exhaust clip is coming! I got one from inside and didn't like it so I'm borrowing a buddies gopro to film myself and a friends 650rwhp MK4 Supra.

IIQuickSilverII 06-06-2016 12:52 AM

drop it more man... looks great!

ZMoneyPIT 06-06-2016 12:52 PM

I want to stay functional, might do like .25" more in the rear but no more.

Here is a quick snap. Momentum piping is crinkle black, getting the plenum powder coated the same and thinking about further ways to tastefully dress it up.

I hear you man... I think cause tire on rear is a bit more stretch than front that it looks too high... a bit of a drop... I am sure you can roll fenders worse case... for the driving part, getting into the low spots, the front is what dictates that and you have to get used to most. Anyways, very nice build, love the wheel, power, very nicely done!!

ZMoneyPIT 06-07-2016 06:19 PM

Decided to post up a quick clip of the car pulling. Will get more soon! The first turbo/Amuse sound clip from my knowledge.

tell me your getting the amuse front lip! I know its like $1200-1400 but it would only make your build even better.

ZMoneyPIT 06-08-2016 04:18 PM

I'm on the edge. Don't know if I want a new front bumper or to go with the splitter. Such a hard decision!!

IIQuickSilverII 06-08-2016 07:07 PM

IMO go with the splitter...Id get original because #baller, but shine auto makes good one too FYI...

BigBlue 06-08-2016 08:30 PM

^ Your car looks great and you are dealing with some very fine parts! Yeah I'll bet that exhaust sound nice. Keep it rolling :icon38:

ZMoneyPIT 06-10-2016 05:34 PM

More exhaust clips! It's pretty quiet compared to my old single until you get into the higher gears. Really need a highway shot. Soon...

dooo it! oh man, that splitter turns the bumper into something completely different. For the prince tag, if you can find one, it better deliver...and it does.

you know how I know your an old school Z owner...not your join date but the bold. Nowadays is cheap this and cheap that most of the time. Seems like OP is doing it proper

IIQuickSilverII 06-10-2016 10:53 PM

Hahaha, yah ill take that was a complement, ... I mean its a import but it needs proper treatment, otherwise is just a fanboy-build. I mean no offense to those who's done it but it's part of reason why I didn't wrap car it's full stage grigio paint, why I went all out in engine, why I didn't invest in eBay suspension, why I still invest to buy cwest original and topsecret and not knockoff carbon creations... and why my widebody is molded in :dunno:

The OP deserves lots of credit for that, I mean many could do a similar look for cheaper with knockoff parts but he's doing it right!!!!

ZMoneyPIT 06-11-2016 12:26 PM

Keeping a build "authentic" is pretty hard but everytime I decide to go with quality I never regret it.
My front bumper came from a friend and it's definitely not legit Amuse, I'm like 99% sure it's the shine rep. I mean I could just go on and go with the shine rep front diffuser but I want to see my car built with mostly authentic parts. It's the main reason I want to go with another bumper but it will have to hold off for some time as I have bigger priorities right now.
Got some more parts coming in. :) Think I'm good on the build for the year after my last purchase. Stay tuned!

ZMoneyPIT 06-14-2016 06:18 PM

Deal might've fell through... Worst feeling ever. Was so hyped. Onto the next one!

sofakiing 06-23-2016 04:50 PM

just go* GMak. :D

Awesome! What pieces did you end up purchasing? Did you just order or did you just receive it? The wait is brutal but so worth it.

Picked up another GMak piece myself :icon21:! Thanks Brian McCann @azexiled for hooking me up.

just GO* GMak! i want you to go GMak.

lmao! i certainly didn't get Garage Mak. I need to slow down buying parts.

ZMoneyPIT 06-25-2016 06:04 AM

Haha I would but not a fan of the front half. I prefer the Nismo V3 and similar bumpers, would love the Garage Mak front diffuser though. As far as the front fenders go I'm still deciding on what I want. I have ideas but yea... Need to chill as well on mods this year :).

ZMoneyPIT 06-30-2016 05:59 PM

Put in some work today. On my way to having the OS Giken in the car tomorrow.

Finished up the install. So far it feels great! Night and day difference, the car squats really hard now.

https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....acb5e72e83.jpg

Also gave it a nice wash.

35reilly 07-04-2016 02:23 PM

Just curious. What exactly are you doing to the rear and why? I'm interested in knowing!! Thxs!!!

ZMoneyPIT 07-04-2016 06:40 PM

Do you mean why did I install the OS Giken? Or why I did the wide body? Both for pleasure. I think the Z looks great as is but it's not aggressive enough for me.

35reilly 07-05-2016 02:47 AM

Rear meaning the os Giken

ZMoneyPIT 07-06-2016 04:43 PM

I have a base model so it came with an open diff. No problem until the wheels start spinning and or I'm coming out of a corner. The OS Giken is definitely going to help getting power down to the wheels. Ight and day difference so far. Love it. Have to get some track time now.

BigBlue 07-06-2016 05:27 PM

What type of break in is there for your new setup?

ZMoneyPIT 07-06-2016 06:17 PM

Do a couple burnouts, take some hard corners.
OS Giken diffs have no break-in requirements :). They're over engineered and built to last. Fitment was perfect.
