hey saw u hv the cxlighting exhaust was looking at myself. Also have SMB 08. For less than 300 how does it sound, perform, pros an cons, just whats your take on it before I make a purchase? Would u buy again if had to do over? Thanks

As far as for me, I love takeda for 2 things, price and sound
Its so much cheaper than Injen, its the same style (short ram) and it sounds very aggressive when you step it down. Only complain I have about this intake is that the 2 logo on the intake is vinyl stickers and they peel off after awhile.... Thus its not good for show car purposes.... but if you don't care about your engine bay dress up, its one of the best intakes out there

On a side note, takeda intakes are known for one of the best BMW aftermarket intake mfg and their stuff is made in US instead of China

After all, I would suggest you ask forum's local members to show you the sound difference so you can better decide. As far as power gain, you won't be able to feel it with that mod along (without tune). I hope this helps
